Movies Review and Happiness

,,,

My weekend post – with movies review what I have seen in last few days. I am presenting review of 2 Hollywood movies ["Life is Beautiful" and "The Pursuit of Happyness"]. Coincidently, both the movies are very close to life and describe happiness. Hats off for the directors and the units of the movies, who have created magic on the screen, with real life emotions and expressions.

Life Is Beautiful (Italian: La vita è bella) is a 1997 Italian language film. This movie is about a man who believes in himself, who believes in dreams. But life takes a turn and how he deals with the situation, when his family is caught by Nazis. He makes the story, so that his son can survive. Really, it’s about the person, how he deals with the situations and makes them favorable for him. A very nicely presented story, superb performance by Roberto Benigni as a father, who also directed and co-wrote the film. A must watch movie in my opinion. :)

The Pursuit of Happyness is an Academy Award-nominated 2006 drama film . While it is based on the true story of Christopher Gardner, a family man struggling to make ends meet. Starring Will Smith as Chris Gardner and his real-life son Jaden Christopher Syre Smith as character’s son. The movie makes us feel that what is the happiness, we all are looking for. Happiness is a moment that can never be expressed, a person doesn’t know how to react when he is really happy – deep from his heart. And as a character – actor, Will Smith, has done full justice with his role. Kudos to him. This movie is really an inspiring movie and must be watched by everyone, specially those people, who are looking for the reasons to be happy.

Australia deserves World Cup 2007

,,,

Quoted from “http://www.cricketnext.com/news/semi-final-sa-bat-first-vs-aussies/24679-13.html

Cricket News – Australia storm into World Cup final
Australia stormed into their fourth straight World Cup final beating South Africa emphatically by seven wickets to set up a rematch of the 1996 World Cup final against Sri Lanka.

I have a dream to see India winning the world cup, and this wish of mine cannot be granted for at least next 4 years. So let’s talk about the best team of world – “Australia”. The way Australia plays Cricket, it’s really inspiring. Australia is the team, which never becomes over confident, neither looses its confidence. This team has always shown a never die attitude towards game and has capability to win the game in any damn condition. The team spirit and no blame game, that’s how they win consistently. In my opinion, this world cup really deserves to Australia, and the way they have played in the semi-final, that is excellent. With proper sports spirit – I wish, they make history by winning World Cup third time.

Chennai Calls Freddy

,,,

Fredrick in Jaipur trip

["Fredrick" - In our Jaipur Trip in May,2006]

This guy is my friend and teammate and his name is “Fredrick”. Fredrick is the person who has brought fun in working life. He is the best friend of everyone in my team, just because he is a very good person. But when you see that sea-shore is very calm, it means there is something big going to happen. Same thing happened to our team, Fredrick planned his movement to Chennai very silently. And when he revealed this fact, everybody in my team was shocked. But this is a bitter truth that tomorrow is the last working day for Fredrick in Adobe. Fredrick is as much happy with his movement as he is looking in this photograph.:)

He is relocating himself to Chennai, so that he can be with his family. And I really appreciate his feelings, but there are always two sides of coin. And from my side, I just see that Fredrick will be missed a lot, by team, by product and by me. I wish him a very bright career ahead and same beautiful smile forever. :)

Friend’s Marriage

,,,

“Friendship” is the best treasure on this earth. And when your friends are angry with you, there will be definitely some genuine reason. So two of my friends and ex-room partners ["Sandeep Gahlot" and "Vikram ShriShrimal"] are unhappy with me, and reason is my absence in their marriage celebrations. I couldn’t attend wedding of anyone of these guys, as I am located in Bangalore and these guys were getting married in Rajasthan. So this post of mine is dedicated to my Friends marriages.

Sandeep Gahlot got married in January,2007 and as I came from vacations in December`06, it was not feasible for me to go back to Rajasthan in January. And he is so angry with me that he has still not send his marriage photographs. Sandeep! Have a great married life ahead.

Vikram ShriShrimal got married on 19th April,2007 [One day before of Ash-Abhi marriage]. :) Vikram was too much angry with me and he stopped talking with me after knowing that I won’t be there in his marriage ceremony. But thanks to Deepchand, Deepak, Abhishek and Jitendra, that they convinced Vikram about my tight work schedule and I could talk to him on his marriage day. Vikram! I wish you a very beautiful married life.

My Team – "Yaadein"

,

“Kabhie Kabhie mere dil me khayal aata hai

Ki jaise tujhko banaya gaya hai mere liye”

When I came to Bangalore, I never thought that I’ll be a part of such a lovely team in a company named “Adobe”. My team is kind of family, not only for me, but for all of its members. And the name is “Team Contribute, India”. And this team has been contributed by Shubha, Sritama, Sudharshan, Fredrick, Avinash, Arun, Manoj, Lakhwinder, Dominic, Shilpa, Suresh and myself.

Shubha: She left the team in last August and we still miss her, for her well known calm and helping behavior.

Sritama: She is just opposite of Shubha’s nature – quite aggressive. :) But her transfer to Noida makes us feel, like something is missing – either her excitement when she finds a bug or the way she rules on lunch table.

Sudharshan: Guy, who can help you anytime, who works with constant energy and whose working style inspires everybody. He was moved to another project, so that he may cultivate and flourish in and for a new team. Contribute still misses you.

Fredrick: This guy is best friend for everyone, hard working employee and on top of everything – the best person. The way, he has brought energy and fun in the team, I really appreciate him. And of course, words have some limits, and I feel that I have no other words than saying that “I’ll miss you a lot. Contribute will miss you a lot.” :(

Avinash: Mangalorean guy, Aishwarya’s fan and neighbour :) [becoz both are from same city]. Boss! Aishwarya got married, now you start looking other girl. :) He is moving in another team because he likes his new profile in new team. But we’ll miss you too.

Arun: What to say for this guy…Java, Mac, Photoshop…He is superb. And when you want to inspire yourself, just have a look on Arun, and come back, you’ll also feel some energy and dedication for your work.

Manoj: Cool guy…The way Manoj talks, explains and even suggests, he is too cool. And I just want to learn from him, how a person can be this much patient.

Lakhwinder: “Punjab di Sherani” – This “Kudi” is bindaas and always does justice with her job. But she becomes angry very soon…so I’ll ask her for permission about what to write? :)

Dominic: My roommate, “WinRunner” guru – hard to understand this guy because he handles too many girlfriends. :)

Shilpa: She is in the place of Sritama, while she looks like Shubha. Too much enthusiastic and passionate about job.

Suresh: My boss.
