Indian ads
Now-a-days we are having number of channels and as soon as some program is gone for break, we switch to another channel. Because instead of watching ads, we can try some other program. But ads are really interesting in terms of finance for channels, and marketing purpose. As all the ads are not too good, and we really feel bored while seeing few of the ads, that is the reason we switch the channel in a break.
I remember, once upon a time, there was only Doordarshan in Indian television era. Ramayan, Hum Log, Amul Surabhi – These programs used to rock. And alongwith these programs, advertisements used to entertain people, because people used not to have choice of switching to other channel or program. In that era, I also watched ads and few of the ads were too good that I can never forget them. And these advertisements were of Amul, Fevicol, Titan, Cinthol. Amul and Fevicol are two brands, they have always come up with the best of the advertisements. Here are the two examples:
Amul – "Zara si Khusi dulaar zara sa….The taste of India"
Fevicol – "Ye fevicol ka zod hai, chhutega nahi"
These ads were really too good – with good music, feelings of Indian culture and society and proper presentation of the product. I really love the ads from Amul and Fevicol. And I love music of Titan ad, Cinthol ad and lots more.
Advertising is not an easy job, picking up right theme with the context of the product, its a very creative job. And the right ad doesn’t allow you to feel bored ,when you are watching a program, that has been interuppted because of ad. Good ad makes an impression in your heart that you can’t easily forget it, and creates a goodwill for the product as well.
