Rajasthani Music

,,,,,,,,

Rajasthan – The land of bravery and rich culture. As being of part of this land, I was always fascinated about music, especially Rajasthani folk. So this entry of mine is for those people only who have interest in Rajasthani Music, others may not find it useful.

Rajasthani folk is mostly all about feelings and festivals. Ghoomar, Gair, Chirami, Gorband, Banjara – these folk songs and dances, not only describe how much cultural treasure Rajasthan is having, but also it tells that in the desert of Rajasthan where people survive in hard conditions, they also have some soft feelings, and melodious time. Overall these melodious songs, give you feel of the coolness of music in hottest part of the India. Best use of flute, chang, dhol and nagaade in folk makes me crazy about it. Even in dance, synchronization of performers, dancing with pot on head, its all amazing. This entry of mine is dedication to great music culture of Rajasthan. You may listen few of these songs on my site as well.

Art and Hemanth

,,,,,,,,

India is the country with lots of talent and as being of artisitc nature myself, I always appreciate people who have talent. And if they are friends or relatives of mine, then it makes me feel proud. Adobe, India has a guy named Hemanth Sharma in Flash team, and he is a very good artist – designer and singer. Hemanth has his own created character “Lango” using Adobe Flash, which he uses for his site http://www.designprovince.com/. A beautiful site with so many other Flash creations, but story doesn’t end here. He has a talent of singing as well. You may hear songs sung by him on his site http://www.swarataranga.com/. As I said, I really want to appreciate something, what I like, and that is the reason I am appreciating Hemanth’s hobby. Hemanth! I wish that you keep singing and uploading your songs.
