Haryana Hurricane – Himani

,,,,,

If people blame me for writing only about girls then I am really sorry. But I was just listening this song and thought that if I don’t write about Himani then it will be injustice to her talent and my interest to music. Haryana Hurricane Himani always rocked the musical platform of SaReGaMaPa 2005, and she was among one of my favorite contesters. Though I always liked Nihira the most, but Himani was always good with her confidence. She has caliber to sing all the songs what Sunidhi Chauhan sings. I liked her presentation most for this song “Der na ho jaaye“. Hope you’ll like the song and appreciate Himani.

My Bangalore Experience

The day, I came to Bangalore, I was full of dreams and faith. And those dreams came true, and it happened in in the dream city of every IT guy – The Silicon City - Bangalore. Bangalorewelcomed me with open arms. I really want to thank Bangalore for beautiful changes in my life.

Bangalore - the garden city has become complete IT city today with lots many IT companies. Evergreen weather of Bangalore attracts so many people towards it.The land of Kannadigaas keeps a strong hold on culture and stands first in modernization. The lovely Monday traffic kicks off the week with the dreams of coming weekend. This city’s movie mania also astonishes you, when people come on roads to fight with God on natural death of a superstar or when you find that people are so crazy on film "Sivaji". And the good thing is you never have too many problems because of language. In fact, if you know few words like "Maadi", "Bega", "Illa", "Gottilla" then you can survive in Bangalore easily. As being a miser person [in opinion of my teammates], I feel that Bangalore is very expensive. In Bangalore, you may find good south Indian food. Normal hotels cheat you on the name of north Indian food by giving Maida Naan/Roti instead of wheat Chapati.

Vidhan Sauda

I have learnt from this city that we should feel proud for the land we belong to. There is no harm in speaking language, which you are comfortable with. There should be always a passion for our own culture and land.

This city is very beautiful, makes dream true if we have patience. I wish people keep it green as it is today, and we should always be able to say that "Namma green city, namma Bangaluru".

Welcome to Udaipur

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Its a long time that I didn’t post any blog entry, because I didn’t want to reveal out few things. But before I start revealing out those secrets, a long time awaited post from my side for those people who keep saying that its a Mauli and youtube blog. :) I am sorry boss this entry of mine will also be containing a youtube video but no Mauli. :)

This entry of mine is for my native Udaipur, Rajasthan which is my favorite place also. I wanted to show this place to my teammates last year, but because of distance from Delhi, we changed our plan to go to Jaipur. But I promise them that if I’ll get chance, I’d happily like to be guide for them again. :) And I want other people also to visit Udaipur through this entry of mine. Ok lets start the journey.

Sukhadiya CircleLake Peechola

Sukhadiya Circle and Lake Peechola

Udaipur has been named on king UdaiSingh Ji and this place is very well known for lakes and natural beauty. Few people call it "City of Lakes", "LakeCity", "Kashmir of Rajasthan", "Venice of West". This place has so many locations to visit i.e..- "Lake Fateh Sagar", "Lake Peechola", "Lake Jaisamand" [Asia's biggest man-made lake], "City Palace", "Sukhadiya Circle", "Moti Magari", "HaldiGhati","Lake Palace", "SajjanGhar", "Saheliyon Ki Baari", "Gulab Bagh [Rose Garden]", "DoodhTalai", "Shilpgram" and "Meera Kala Mandir" [for artisitic people] etc. .

I have added two beautiful songs here, both were shooted completely in Udaipur to give you a glimpse of exotic locations of Udaipur. First song from film "Yaadein", shooted in ‘Lake Palace‘, ‘Jag Mandir‘ [Where Raveena Tandon got married] and ‘Lake Peechola‘, and the boat in scene is from Mewar Rajgharana, which is used for "Gangaur" [big festival in Rajasthan] procession from City Palace department. Other song from film "Khuddar", 90% of this film was shooted in Udaipur. The locations in this song are "Saheliyon Ki Baari", "JaiSamand","SajjanGhar" and "ShivNiwas Palace Hotel", in the same order. Recently movie "Eklavya" was released, which was shooted in DeviGhar Palace in Udaipur district.

"Saheliyon Ki Baari" is a garden which was build by the king with the purpose that queens can enjoy month of Sawan [Rain] anytime in a year. That is the reason, one pond is surrounded with four Gokhara kind of architecture with black stones at corners and each of these architecture has bird on top, which rotates and throws water. In between the pond one white stone architecture, which is basically a fountain. And in any season you may enjoy rainy season here. :) One more thing to be noted down, this was strictly for queens in old time. Now anybody can visit this place. But still one day – Hariyali Amavasya in year, this place is open only for ladies.

Beautiful locations, rich culture – puppet shows and folk dance, simple people, wooden toys to be purchased as gifts and delicious food – I wish that if you are planning your holidays for Udaipur then do it. Udaipur is almost same as Jaipur in terms of development and has airport also.
